QUESTIONS AND CURIOSITIES
Our main raw material is fruit, its concentrates or pulps. We have juices made from concentrates and others made from pulps. Some of the popular flavoured pulps such as peach and pear are made in our factory, that is, we receive the trucks with fruit directly from the orchard and extract the pulp, always respecting the highest quality standards. Once the pulp or concentrate is obtained, we make the blend, that is, the mixture that will result in the final juice. Finally, pasteurization and packaging is carried out under strict aseptic conditions.

What does “made from concentrates” mean?
This means that the fruit present in the juice was concentrated at its origin, that is, the water was removed to allow it to be more easily preserved and transported. This water is replaced in the production process, recreating the juice just as the fruit that came from the tree, without any preservatives or colourings, or other additives.
Can I include a juice in the recommended consumption of 3 to 5 pieces of fruit per day?
Drinking Compal juices and nectars contributes to the daily consumption of fruit.
What we cannot do is establish a quantitative relationship between litres of juice and pieces of fruit. For this, we have Compal Essencial, fruit doses that guarantee nutritional equivalence to a piece of fruit.
I'm gluten intolerant. Can I drink Compal juices and nectars?
Yes. The Compal range of juices and nectars is gluten free.
